Somewhere there is a trail!

Somewhere there is a trail, a foot tread, a path beneath and through this summers growth!

It's not that the wildflowers aren't beautiful. I'd just like to be able to see my feet! :-)

There it is! I knew there was a wonderfully constructed foot tread through there somewhere!

Volunteers have been busy clearing away summer overgrowth in anticipation of the opening on October 2.  In some places on the high side it requires cutting back nearly 8 feet just to get the wildflowers out of your face!

And once you can see the trail, then you can see this:

We are nearly completed with clearing, only a couple of miles to go. Come help us next Saturday, September 11, if you can.
